The new Family Guy episode was pretty sub-par and doubly distressing was the fact that the new Venture Brothers ep was also somewhat lacklustre (although still good and better than the FG ep).
Word of the day: expectorate
WTF?
My new dentist prescribed toothpaste has as its second step in the directions: “Adults expectorate.” Huh wha?
Turns out it has a fascinating and useful meaning: to eject from the throat or lungs by coughing or hawking and spitting.
I didn’t realize “hawking” was a technical word. Except that I think Stephen Hawking has some kind of particle or something named after him…oh, turns out it’s a kind of radiation.
