I did not know that baby stingrays have “feet”

Here’s a rather cute picture of one that seems to be floating around the net: Trippy huh? I guess the “feet” fall off or something by the time they grow up. I can’t find specific documentation of this, but there are plenty of photos/videos out there. Evidently the babies are called “pups”.
