we’re moving….now!
ok, the movers will be here in about 2 hours, but you get the idea.
Comcast decided to shut us off 2 days early or something….so right now I’m connected via bluetooth over my cellphone running as a modem. Fun stuff.
oh, and we didn’t really get to sleep last night because it’s SO FUCKING HOT here. Portland does not need to be 100+, it just doesn’t. We had a fan blasting us all night last night and man, unpleasant.
We stopped by the new house to get the keys last night and Z was just loving running around in circles – the whole house progresses in a circle kinda, it’s neat.
I went back later that night to take over all the fragile/electronic stuff, and now we’re just waiting for some men with less sore backs than mine to haul all the boxes and furniture.
Of course, we ran out of boxes, so there’s a bunch of stuff unpacked (mostly kitchen junk) that we’ll have to come back for later…but who cares! I have to be here Monday anyway to meet the carpet cleaners.
