WoW, 80

So my hunter finally hit 80:

80redacted

Monsoon the gorilla is showing off again.  That or his hemorrhoids are flaring up.

Not that this is any great achievement – they’ve made it really easy to get to 80, you don’t even have to farm/grind.  Just play the game (ie quest), and you’ll get there more sooner than later.  I’m still 1200 gold shy of epic flight – I have a feeling that will “feel” much more epic than level 80 itself.

Shame his equipment still looks pretty lame.  Ah well, that’s how they keep you in there at 80!

Note: It’s really annoying that hunters don’t hold their bows/guns/xbows in the character select screen. I’d much rather see that.

Note2: Yes, shoulder gear in WoW is nutshuge.  Some of it would break your back to walk around wearing it.  Some of the really high level stuff has like, giant glowing skulls and shit floating in/above your shoulders.

I always love visiting animally places and grinding away. There, I can listen to a good audio program or music, practice different strategies or try various combat methods, acquire gray stuff to sell(goes for a lot actually), green items to disenchant for guild mats, and acquire leather and arctic furs, which are useful as well as sell for a lot if I was to sell them.

The same can be done in humanoid encampments, which allows for more intense combat as there is no waiting as I skin, and allows for cloth collection, also useful to the guild.

Daily quests are fun too, and there are quite a few of them I believe, if you look them up. I have nothing against AH, but there’s only so much gold in the WoW economy in one realm at one time. If someone buys from you, they had to get the money from somewhere else, such as AH, and so on. Therefore, I enjoy methods which don’t drain other people of their money or make the guild rely on outside help, such as vendor-ing and quests. With all of our professions, hopefully we can farm and make most anything we’d need, including money.

That is one of the longest semi-sense making spam comments I have seen yet. So I’m going to leave it. Sans link of course.

Wait a minute, why’s that spam and not just crazy nut ball speak? Oh and yes, it has come to my attention that I’ve missed several posts due to you being trigger happy so I had to scroll through and LOOK what I find! WoW junk! And dude, I love my totally paranoid broseph but I am literally laughing at the fact that you bleeped your toon names!!! I love you. Oh, Andy. (Still laughing.) That and how you clearly take a dig at me by saying how easy it is to get to 80 “if you just play”. Whatever, buster brown. Cheyenne was killing my slowly with her song, okay. Not softly. Slowly. Plus. I’m hella jealous, still.

Amusement, enjoyed. Member that time I told everyone that your middle name is Mortimer.

It’s spam because it was linking to a wow gold sale site. But it was just so amusing I left the rest up.

Eh, Toon names were censored mostly for amusement. But it’s related to an older practice – like not ever using my full name in the same page, or mentioning my children’s full names. Just making it more difficult to google me. Certainly anything can be found out with a little bit of actual research, but I’d like it to take more than a simple google search.
