Scrabble Girl

there’s something rad about
the exciting and the new
there’s something rad about
getting to know you
you don’t need a reason
it’s always in season
to stay out all night long
rocking to the same old song
and staying out ’til night turns into dawn

A simple one for today. One of my favorite songs, seems to say so much in so few words. The music, lyrics, and delivery work so well together here – I think. 14 years later, it still puts a smile on my face.
