War of the Supermen was dumb
Wow, what a good use for an entire planet of Kryptonians!!1101! Or 100,000 of them at least. And now they are mostly dead/phantom zoned, except for a few sleepers that I’m sure will turn up as random villains but WOW that was a totally interesting thing to do with a planet of super powered beings sharing the solar system with Earth (and a couple others species, depending on the writer).
And no heroes were seriously injured! And the Justice League couldn’t deal with a couple of Kryptonians! And Supergirl wasn’t fast enough to stop General Lane from killing himself! And bleh.
That’s great that they are all dead and gone and the status quo is back to exactly what it was like 3-4 years ago (no Mon-El, no Flamebird/Nightwing – ie no more interesting supporting cast, and also no more Guardian, but who really cares there)! And I’m sure there were no other possibly interesting stories that could have been written about a planet of goddam Supermen. Killing them was totally the smartest way out of that box. I’m glad the reset switch is so close to the toilet!
Oh and also Lex Luthor made another sun (red, natch!) inside our solar system and it had no effect on anything other than killing a bunch of Kryptonians in space except for Superman and Supergirl!!
