Captain America 606 was just as stupid as I expected
and by “stupid”, I mean “retconnish”. Wee Baron Zemo, after a fucking DECADE of character work, is back to being a stupid villain. Annnnnd he’s taking Fixer with him. Except that Fixer is currently working with the “new” Thunderbolts… which is also having a Zemo appearance? But whatever, this Fixer was cool with building a bomb to blast Falcon “almost” to death. … SIGH.
UGH. Are the editors this confused only 2 months into the new status quo, or is this actually intentional and sequenced one way or another? I’m thinking the Captain America stuff would be first because Fixer mentions being an outcast, and I see NO reason why he would give up the gig with Mach V on the Raft for this crap. Other than some writer wanted to play with him. In a way I’m completely not liking. Because Mach V & Luke Cage would umm… not being cool with someone bombing Falcon and Captain America. Ugh. I mean, seriously, Zemo is going to be that pissed because the SIDEKICK his dad “killed” was like the one act of villainy that he was ever successful at or something and now Bucky is alive again? Dumb.
