So there’s some kind of… well, I don’t want to call it a leak because I can’t find a single goddam thing LEAKING… so we’ll call it an “emanation”. There’s some kind of a water emanation in our basement. I would think it was coming up from the floor but uh … there are no [...]

Just recently my boys (2 & 3.5) decided that they liked Downbound Train [not embedded because I couldn't find the album version] – the title above is an attempt to transfer into letters the sounds that are produced by my oldest when he names the song. Yes, it IS adorable. Maybe they just like it [...]

I’m hesitant about posting this, because it’s kind of painful… but I went to the emotional and typographical (real word, being used by me in completely the wrong way) trouble of creating it, so here it is: A post of Rachel’s got me thinking about a day I both wish I could never remember and [...]

No, not giving birth, because Jen did all the work there, but the metaphor & posession part of “having”. [Warning: May contain mush and cheese. Viewers may not want to have full stomachs.] So right, “duh” right? It changes everyone. This I know, but some of the changes are more interesting, from an internal perspective, [...]

It’s true. I can never see Z as a baby anymore. M is so tiny…even the briefest exposure of the two simultaneously to my perception field has forever warped/awakened it. Z is now huge! I’m like, expecting him to start job hunting any day; it’s creepy.

and I don’t have a whole lot to say about it (being a family of four). Nothing in the earth shattering realm anyway. It seems like it’s only been a day…somehow the time went by REALLY fast. He’s extra adorable, although not much on personality yet – although, if things can be read into it, [...]
