and it’s not even flash-crap tastic!
It does use Adobe Air for the basic client interface, which I’ve found to run poorly on my monster of a laptop – especially when a web browser is open (and visible – this is critical apparently) at the same time – but this is really minor.
If you enjoyed the [...]

…since I’ve been in the beta for a few weeks (I got in on via one of the random website sign-up competitions thing, I think around the 5th) and beta is winding down today – it may already be over.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take any badass action screenshots to show off , so you’ll [...]

Seriously.
1/13 chance of winning (although another site said 1% for some reason), NO SKILL INVOLVED. Entirely luck and chance – which is fine for silly things like flipping a coin, but playing a round of this game (even on my phone, where viciously taunts me) takes a good few minutes (more if you were flipping [...]

So glad they spelled motherfucking R O G U E correctly ;).
New site is barely up here.
Not much info yet, but it looks like it will include access to opposing side content, and at least 2 new powersets (dual pistols & demon summoning (?)). I’m really curious how much of this second world is going [...]

Duh.
Stardock makes quality games these days. If I had more money & time I might even buy some of them. Sins of a Solar Empire certainly looks like an awesome time sink.
The game in question though, Demigod, doesn’t look like my cup of tea. Too much focus on multiplayer, not enough unit types, etc. That [...]

Naya Hushblade:
I love everything about it – the casting cost, p/t, abilities, and the art. Especially the art. Not only does it convey some good flavor: Naya invader in Esper lands – for the non-Magic geeks, the materials making up the wall behind her give away a little about her location – but it’s also [...]

and somehow I just can’t get excited about it – maybe the fact that I can’t really play it at all right now – yes (! I’ll post a review eventually!) my laptop will run it quite well, but the time & required free hands are rarely available for any period longer than a few [...]

Sometimes I get lucky:
I honestly would have been happy just to get the Wall of Reverence – but the rest of the deck supported it really well. I won second in that draft, and I actually expected to win. The guy that did beat me…his deck was really unspectacular, but effective. Basically domain commons + [...]

because with the rumors of a 1.13 patch, hey, I’m curious.
It’s interesting, it’s aged pretty well. Even at 800×600 it still looks good, and it’s still seems pretty fun.
Of course the spammers are OUT OF FUCKING CONTROL. Every 3 or 4 minutes a spammer joined my game to spam some bullshit website. That was not [...]

So my hunter finally hit 80:
Monsoon the gorilla is showing off again. That or his hemorrhoids are flaring up.
Not that this is any great achievement – they’ve made it really easy to get to 80, you don’t even have to farm/grind. Just play the game (ie quest), and you’ll get there more sooner than later. [...]
